If you are here, that means you want to know a little more about the people/places behind this blog. The name Wildwood comes from a business I own. I couldn't think of a better way to describe where I lived and what I loved. We are located in the mountains of NM - 7050ft elevation to be exact. It is cool here...year round. Which makes the gardening part of my life very frustrating. But nonetheless, it is very pretty here in the pine trees!
My name is Karen. I am a Christian, a wife, and a mom. And hopefully when you read this blog, you will be able to tell that these three things are the most important things in my life. I am from the southwest (mostly New Mexico). I love to garden and raise any farm animal that my husband will allow. I homeschool my kids and run a small home business.
My husband is Josh. He's a Texan. He works for the Forest Service as a engine captain. He also spends his free time hunting, guiding hunts and just about anything else that has to do with being out in the woods.
Oh and he loves coffee (haha).
We have 5 (almost six) children. We have 4 boys and 1 girl and are hoping to add one more girl very soon. Aren't they cute! Will update the pics once #6 arrives!
